Gerard Deane


Position - Gerard has been the manager of Holywell Consultancy since its formation in 2004.
Experience - Gerard has led up all of the work that has been delivered by Holywell Consultancy over the last 7 years - over 120 contracts. Gerard has a wide range of experience in facilitating evaluations, strategic planning and programme delivery. Gerard also developed Holywell Consultancy's Good Relations Workshop and has also delivered training on tendering for public contracts.
Professional Interests - Gerard is strongly committed to recreating the centre of Derry~Londonderry as an innovative, welcoming and shared space. As such, he has been prominent in the efforts of the Walled City Community Partnership and its efforts to develop a purpose built city centre community resource.
Other Interests - Gerard is married to Maíréad and has two children, Eiméar & Róan. He is looking forward to the next time that Derry City FC wins the treble and usually keeps an eye out for other football results. Gerard is also delighted that Derry has been selected as UK City of Culture 2013 and is excited about the positive change that it will bring to the city.
