Maureen Hetherington


Position - Maureen is Company Treasurer and Board Member.
Experience - Maureen has an M.A. in Humanities and has worked full time in community relations for sixteen years. Maureen has headed up several major community relations initiatives and has delivered training and lectures in Ireland and abroad in relation to her work. Maureen has directed the research and publication of books such as My Faith, Our Faith, Children in Crossfire and supported publications such as Bear in Mind these Troubles, All our Yesterdays and Crossings. Her own most recent publication is A Day of Reflection.
Professional Interests - Maureen serves as a board member on the Community Relations Council for Northern Ireland. As Chairperson of Towards Understanding and Healing she has been responsible for devising and securing major funding for an Accredited Training Resource on Dealing with the Past.
